Geothermal Project Management Graduation 2024
Congratulations to our recent Geothermal Project Management graduates!
Last week’s graduation brought our fourth Geothermal Project Management short course to a close. This intensive one-month course culminates in business case presentations, where teams seek approval from our expert panel (Dr John O’Sullivan, Alex Batten and Mike Allen) to progress to the next stage of their geothermal projects.
To build their business case, each team assessed the technical, economic and social viability of their geothermal project using the skills they have learnt over the previous month. We are excited to see our new alumni apply these skills as Indonesia and the Philippines embark on the next phase of geothermal exploration and development.
A big thank you to everyone involved in the successful delivery of this course. Special thanks must go to the teams at Jacobs and Skills Group, who are key partners in the Project Management Short Course Series and to the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade for funding the programme.
We are looking forward to February 2025, when we will welcome geothermal professionals from East Africa for our next GPM short course.
Congratulations once again to all our GPM graduates!
