LPDP Scholarship Applications Now Open
Indonesian students can now fuel their future in geothermal and renewable studies through the LPDP scholarship. Applications are now open from 17 January – 17 February 2025.
LPDP believes in paving the future of Indonesia by supporting its brilliant minds. Specifically tailored for Indonesian students, they offer scholarship programmes for Masters and Doctoral degrees. At the same time, encouraging new discoveries with research funding. With this dual commitment to education and innovation, LPDP aims to help Indonesia become a prosperous, democratic, and forward-thinking country.
2025 Scholarship Application
- Apply online at the LPDP Scholarship Registration site: beasiswalpdp.kemenkeu.go.id
- Choose and apply for your desired programme (refer to our Recommended Programmes below).
- Complete and upload all required documents in the application registration.
- Ensure to submit the application registration to obtain the registration code.
- Ensure supporting documents such as Letters of Recommendation, Certificates, and others are valid and issued according to LPDP regulations. (Detailed information about the documents can be found in the booklet or guide book of each programme on the official LPDP website.

Includes subjects such as Renewable Energy, Geothermal, Climate Change and the Environment.

Accredited tertiary Education Institutions in NZ, including Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland.

Postgraduate Certificate in Geothermal Energy Technology
Semester Two
60 Points
An intensive, single-semester, hands-on qualification for engineering and science graduates wishing to pursue advanced research or a career in geothermal energy.
Master of Energy
Semester One and Semester Two
120 or 180 Points
Designed to meet the ongoing need for experts across the energy sector, this programme equips students with the expertise needed to build careers in an ever-evolving field.
