Pertamina Geothermal Energy

Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) is one of the largest geothermal energy companies in Indonesia. The Geothermal Institute has worked closely with PGE since 2022. This work has included numerical resource assessment, early-stage resource assessment, and technical support for due diligence assessments. 

As part of these commercial projects, the Geothermal Institute has also provided in-person capacity building for PGE staff. These hands-on, in-person training programs ranged from two weeks to one month. They taught PGE staff geothermal modelling best practices, model calibration, and forecasting.
