The Geothermal Institute has partnered with the Skills Group since 2023 to deliver in-country training programs through the Manaaki New Zealand Short Term Training Scholarship Fund. These month-long training programs teach project management skills in the context of renewable energy and geothermal energy projects to energy professionals from ASEAN and African countries.
